LASER THERAPY
We offer laser therapy to help many patients. Our geriatric friends, trauma and arthritic patients can get relief from pain and discomfort and have a rapid healing time. It involves a noninvasive therapy that replaces a drug regimen and treats acute and chronic pain; essentially, it is acupuncture without needles. It is a joy to be able to help so many animals deal with pain, reduce discomfort, walk again, and improve healing time by providing one’s pet increased function to limbs and organs. DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY
It allows us to speed up the process of analysis and viewing x-rays. Digital radiography gives us the ability to review each case immediately with our clients so that we can reach the earliest possible diagnosis. Digital radiographic techniques will allow our doctors to give you the best treatment plan possible for your pet.

ONCOLOGY AND ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE
With the rapid increase in the number of pets experiencing cancer, County Animal Hospital has doctors and technicians trained to be skilled and sensitive in treating many different forms of cancer. LASER SURGERY
Laser surgery has become one of the most important services we offer. Use of laser helps to increase healing time, decrease pain, and allows us to make more precise incisions. Some examples of laser surgeries include: spays, neuters, de-claws, as well as eye, intestinal, abdominal, skin, oral, orthopedic and many other surgical procedures. By using laser surgery you will be helping your pet to heal quickly with LESS PAIN and discomfort. BIRDS & EXOTICS
Pets come in all shapes and sizes and we love them all! Dr. Robert Outzs has a fondness for these "pocket pets." Along with our technicians, he is skilled at handling the special needs of exotic pets. Dr. Outzs has office hours on Wednesdays and weekends. ULTRASOUND AND ENDOSCOPY
Ultrasound is used to determine diseases as well as cancer of the chest/heart and abdomen. We can determine medical problems from diseases including renal, liver, pancreatic, intestinal, and urinary bladder, to liver cancer, pregnancy and many other conditions. Ultrasound of the heart and abdomen has been an integral part of the practice for the past 15 years. As the technology changes each year we become more sophisticated in our ability to make quick, accurate diagnoses and therefore proper treatment recommendations. Dr Gary Smith is highly trained in diagnostic ultrasonography. We also have veterinary technicians who are trained and skilled in providing ultrasonographic services. (Dr. Outzs and Jim)

ORTHOPEDIC AND GENERAL SURGERY
Our doctors can do many different orthopedic procedures. Most procedures are performed with Laser. Some of the most common procedures performed are knee surgeries including ACL and cartilage repairs. We perform hip surgeries and fracture repairs. General Surgery is also performed with Laser and includes procedures such as liver masses, kidney surgery, bladder surgery, foreign body removal from the stomach and intestines, spleen removal due to accidents and cancer. This process is ever evolving and is one of our “pet” areas of practice. It allows us to offer you a plan on the future care of your pet so that we can partner in the short and long-term care.
